I am proud to say that as your Representative, these were the principles in which I governed and the guidelines in which I based my decisions that benefitted our communities.  Together, we were able to make our neighborhoods safer, incentivize outside investment that created quality jobs, and save taxpayer dollars by exposing and eliminating bureaucratic loopholes.

I’m running for State Senate to finish what we once started and ensure families, residents, and students are provided with opportunities to use their skills and strengthen our economy while improving their own quality of life.I have always called our region home, and unfortunately I’ve watched these opportunities come and go over the years.  It’s time to come together, fight for our communities, and make sure that our hard work builds the foundation for a stronger future.

As California’s public safety system adapts to new laws and regulations and many departments remain understaffed as well as underfunded, Sharon’s experience and her commitment to public safety will be invaluable,” said Harriet Salarno, CVUC President and Chair.  “We welcome her return to the Senate and look forward to working with someone who truly values the safety of her constituents.
